COVID-19 Update

AIPIO will take all reasonable steps to provide the safest possible environment for our delegates, supporters, exhibitors, staff and contractors. Closer to the time of the Conference, in response to the current guidelines and protocols in place with the Venue, participants will be sent COVID Safety compliance information which will provide details on the measures being undertaken. All delegates will be bound by these guidelines.

It is recommended that all participants review the latest advice from the Australian Government, and the South Australian state government guidelines / directives, with regards to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Domestic and International travellers may be subject to screening measures as required by the Australian Government upon entering Australia, and the state of South Australia.

Terms & Conditions

COVID Safety Guidelines and Compliance

All participants at the Conference will be required to comply with the COVID Safety Guidelines and protocols in place with the venues and the Conference, which will be compliant with the Government Health Department advice at that time. By registering for this event, AIPIO reserves the right to provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any other relevant Government requirements. Details of these protocols and requirements will be communicated closer to the time of the Conference.

Voluntary Delegate Cancellation

All cancellations and changes to registrations must be made in writing to Wise Connections at

  • Cancellations made up until COB Friday 10 December 2021 will receive a refund less a $176 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made after COB Friday 10 December 2021 will receive no refund.
  • Delegate substitutes, from the same organisation, may be made up until COB Friday 21 January 2022. Each substitution will be subject to a $44 administration fee.
  • Delegate substitutions will not be accepted after COB Friday 21 January 2022.
  • Amendments to Conference registrations will be subject to a $44 administration fee.
  • Refunds will be returned by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
  • Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event inclusive within the registration fee is not taken up, or if you subsequently cancel your participation in that function or event.

Conference Cancellation or Postponement

AIPIO may cancel or postpone the Conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Conference.

In the event the Conference is not able to proceed as planned, and is moved to a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual Conference, AIPIO will not be required to refund any part of the Conference registration fee.

In the event of postponement of the Conference, if, when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Conference, AIPIO will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Conference, AIPIO will not be required to refund any part of the Conference registration fee. In the event of a full cancellation of the Conference, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the Conference registration fee received.

The maximum liability of AIPIO under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.

Delegate Cancellation - Medical

The health and safety of Conference attendees is our highest priority. AIPIO is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to physical distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. AIPIO requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the Conference.

If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Conference, you must cancel your in-person attendance in writing by email to . A virtual registration will then be offered, with any difference in price refunded. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of the AIPIO, however you may be asked to provide additional details.


Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Conference Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.


All Conference registration fees and additional tickets are quoted in Australian Dollars. GST at 10% is included.

In addition, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at Intelligence 2021 their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of Intelligence 2021 which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Organisers of Intelligence 2021. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Conference Office in advance by email.
